Crowns

What are Crowns?

Porcelain crowns  are recommended for patients with severely damaged teeth. They are an excellent restorative method which can be used to replicate the look of your natural tooth, while making them stronger than before. By removing the damaged portion of your teeth and replacing them with durable crowns created at our state-of-the-art clinic, our highly qualified dentists can give you healthier teeth with increased function.

Benefits of Crowns

Dental crowns  provide protection to heavily damaged teeth by encapsulating the whole tooth. Our dentists can reconstruct your teeth to make them resistant to further damage. Not only do crowns protect teeth, they can also boost your confidence by giving you a beautiful smile. Just like veneers they can be matched to your natural tooth colour and shape for an aesthetically-pleasing appearance.

Crowns Starting from £220 Each

  • Itinerary
  • First Visit to the Clinic

You will have a detailed examination by our dentist to determine your requirements. Once you’re happy with your treatment plan, our dentist will prepare your tooth by shaping it to make room for the crown. After the tooth is reduced in size, an impression of your tooth will be taken to construct your porcelain crowns. A temporary crown will be placed onto the tooth until the permanent crown is back from our specialized lab.

  • Second Visit to the Clinic

Once the permanent crown arrives from the lab, your dentist will make sure that you’re happy with the colour, fit and aesthetics and cement it into place for a healthy-looking smile.

Length of Procedure

The timescale for this procedure is around 6 days depending on your treatment.

Anaesthetic

Crowns are performed under local anaesthesia.
